Just the other day, a husband complained about his wife’s excessive usage of handheld devices resulting in the husband feeling he and the children were being neglected. He was asked what he wanted in this situation. The obvious answer he gave was that his wife should not use her tab or cellphone that much. This was one way to see the situation.

When I was a kid, Lego theme boxes were my favorite toys. They were a set of colorful interlocking blocks that had a special theme. The memory of losing a block or two from the set is still vivid. It used to be a catastrophic day for the whole family. I would complain about the missing blocks like anything and would believe that the whole theme has become useless.

Suppose there are lotus leaves on a lake and they double every day. If it takes 20 days to cover the whole lake, how many days does it take to cover half the lake? … 19 days. Sounds simple and easy. However, the interesting and creepy part is that on 17th day, only the tenth part of the lake will be covered and it’s hard to imagine that the lake will be fully covered in just 3 days!
